The DHSC said that on 30 September, a day before the judgment was issued, an application was made to put PPE Medpro into administration. The company’s accounts, published a week before the judgment, show that it had funds of less than £1m.

Don't appear to have the remaining £121 million owed   Grin

I hope the government goes for the others linked to politicians too. There seem to be quite a few who benefited much more than Ms Mone using the official fast track lane to the procurements of PPE during Covid.

I hope she's not being made a scapegoat for all the others.

They'd be eating ok with £29 million , a pleasing outcome for a change and the Dame withdrawal should be a formality.

Barrowman reckoned they only made the sort of money other PPE providers were making.
As long as you can justify it, and avoid being dragged to the nearest lamppost, it's all ok.

The fact it was unusable makes you wish you were a fly on the wall when the deal was made.

Get your point impossible but they're too guilty to ever be over punished but on that point that Spanish jeweller who made £3 million just for making one phone call when acting as a middle man might be worth looking into   Laugh

That's what you get when you combine incompetence with dishonesty , an inevitable outcome.

Why was there a sizeable increase of newly formed companies in 2020/2021 when the conomy was shutting down?
Why did Sunak inform the civil serve ice to hand out the cash and then ask questions later.
HMRC admitted they'd spaffed 4 billion of our funny money up against the wall with no likelihood of getting it back.

There was a huge transfer of wealth, some went to scammers and a lot to the elites who went to the right schools or lodges.

It's universally accepted politicians make bad business decisions for the public unless it's for their own company. Some many small businesses applied for and got £50k bounce back loan eg garages, takeaways, small retailers, etc, but never able to repay back the loan. Some even used it for non-business purposes.

Well done Mr Sunak!
