Amazing run from second in the handicap, even with the claim. Should have won by lengths. Poor jockey was visibly cursing at the line, will haunt him for a while.
Twist in the story, the new trainer who has transformed the horse has taken it over from his former trainer who is now assistant to the trainer of the winner.

Poor jockey as in unfortunate, not that he is a poor jockey
 I very nearly backed it, so mixed feelings. Ideally you want to see the best horse win, that was one of the most unluckiest losers for a good while, and a massive pot. Which went to the usual suspects. |
