Obviously nobody missed this debut, and it has plenty of publicity and a change of ownership.

Presumably the trainer didn't have much of an idea what he had, and has been supplemented for the race today.

Impressive fto winners can go either way, but my instinct immediately was that this one was the real deal.

Significant drift in the market this morning, nearly 4-1 on the bfex now makes it a play for me. It would be decent to see a trainer like this fall on a really good one. Betting apart, I'm hoping he is as good as he looked, first up.

Turns out for the guineas. Should have won the MR comfortably in my view but chucked the race away through greenness. Shoemark back on is a positive, as is the likely going. The draw is not great but I'll still be backing him today.

None of the first 4 had run this season. Great ride by Billy and the overhead shot showed just how easily he won.

Soi like Lester in the saddle but very different out of it. Another significant win for Saffie in the next.

It was quite interesting in that it was Appleby's kids pushing him to initially give Billy some rides. Buick will have that seat for a while though.

Everything in its favour today, aside from the draw perhaps. If Oisin allows him to stride on it shouldn't be material.
