Britain finally managed to boot out the first Channel migrant under the one in, one out pact on Wednesday after three humiliating days where the Home Office failed to remove a single person.
The first person to be deported under the deal, a man from India, was escorted onto an Air France passenger jet at Heathrow and flown to Paris.

No doubt he will follow TM's example, and totally avoid direct questions.

Cider is asking pertinent questions that those in power are shat scared to ask or talk about.
It’s why I’ll not be giving my vote to the saviours when their Chairman couldn’t debate the burka!
Threw his toys out the pram after being asked and resigned as fast as the turn coat tories who join, totally untrustworthy.

Zia Yusuf, who resigned as Reform UK chairman on Thursday, is to return to work for the party in a new role. Yusuf will lead what the party calls its "Doge team" – which is modelled on the Department of Government Efficiency set up by US President Donald Trump. Earlier this week, Yusuf quit the party, saying working to get it elected was no longer "a good use of my time", without expanding further. On Saturday, Reform leader Nigel Farage told the BBC he was "delighted" Yusuf had returned to the party and that he will now take on a more public role for the party in a new role, appearing more frequently in the media. He said: "Zia regrets what he said and did the other day. It was a combination of 11 months [of] hard work and exhaustion." In a post on X, Yusuf said he had received a large number of messages urging him to reconsider leaving the party and explained why he quit two days ago. "After 11 months of working as a volunteer to build a political party from scratch, with barely a single day off, my tweet was a decision born of exhaustion," he wrote. Yusuf said he came into politics "out of belief that Nigel Farage was the man" to lead the country, adding "I believe in these things more than ever". Before his resignation, Yusuf had criticised Sarah Pochin, who won last month's Runcorn and Helsby by-election for the party. She urged Sir Keir Starmer to ban the burka "in the interests of public safety" during Prime Minister's Questions on Wednesday. Yusuf said it was "dumb for a party to ask the PM if they would do something the party itself wouldn't do". A burka ban is not Reform party policy. Farage

As far as I remember ( advised by someone who knew ) Brown sold off the “gold reserves” to co-incide with the imminent enormous income anticipated from the issue of G4 licences. So the assets were liquidated on one hand and recovered by the other. Thus the said G Brown, who is still revered by G8 for single-handedly conceiving the plan which saved the west from its financial and banking crash, was not nearly as thick as he was cabbage looking. Not many people know that, certainly not impossible123 anyway.

Imagine Mr Brown had not sold but retained the 1/2 gold reserve. The increase in value would be mega now. Thank goodness, Mr Brown is not an investment advisor.
I wonder who manages Mr Brown's pension pot. Not himself, surely (?)

The thing is guys the tories been used as an escuse for LEGOHEADS failures (my nickname for the bell end) cos he looks like a Lego figure but has less brains. People with a memory will remember that heir Blair is the cause of this outrage he opened the floodgates so his batch human rights lawyer wife could get rich quick. So the b blamers ie boris should be blamin b for Blair innit. More recent times the tories did the brilliant Rwanda scheme but unfortunately Richi had no balls and lefty mo fos voted against at every move. Do we think any labour leader will ever stop them it’s a forking vote in the bag. Uncle Nigel is the last chance before we get outnumbered. Luv u nige the leader

Blair was in the right place at the right time. The sudden death of Smith was a golden opportunity from heaven for Blair.
Another Labour mediocrity with such a fortuitous fortune is Mr Khan. Mr Khan is the most inept and clueless Labour MP (his former law colleagues could not even summon up a good word to say about him) ever had to become London Mayor. He did nothing to get London the Olympic Games.

I don’t want to eat them. I want to help elect them. Once it becomes clear they might be (elected) the wavering Tories will flood to join them. Hopefully those with big c.v.’s who can bring more authority to them, experience in government. And if not well it will be sink or float, and I think they can float. Nobody is listening to the grassroots, the groundswell, the ordinary, hard working, family orientated people. Nobody. And if they don’t, and very soon, Reform will become as a liner being launched, that is, an unstoppable force. The “far right” is a mirage, it is the decent centre who need to be attended and listened too.

Agreed. We head a leader who can lead, who can govern and who can stop this dreadful descent into woke paralysis. Otherwise we are absolutely phucked, and no mistake.

Agree so the system needs re working, not so that anyone can become dictator but ideas have to be given time to be tried out. Or else all other solutions or ideas are pipe dreams.

I don’t know but it’s too much when you multiply it. The next thing is to put them in HMO’s - how much will that actually cost?
No one who’s spoken on the topic has mentioned the bottom line.
Who’ll profit next?!

Of course, they would send me straight back. So, why don’t we just bite the bullet, risk falling out with France, and send each boat back? Seriously, why not? Because we’re too phucking chicken, that’s why. Call the froggie’s bluff and send a boat load back and see what they do and how they react!!!!! Give them back THEIR problem. Even as an experiment. The ECHR could hardly become involved then, could it, and the French would be seriously tested. Why not?

“He should never have been allowed back into the UK after he apparently holidayed in Afghanistan.
A Home Office spokeswoman said: “Whilst we do not comment on individual cases, where there is evidence of someone holding protection status returning to their country of origin, it will trigger a review of their status.”
DG Usama did not want to comment.
Just ridiculous, we really are a joke

Too true, a soft touch and a right laughing stock.
When I worked at Westfield in Shepard’s Bush there was so much graffiti on the toilet doors saying as much. All the foreign workers writing saying as much taunting and laughing.

Actually with the 1000’s (around 15,000- 18,000) on site with only two porter cabins with 4 shatters in each I took a bucket to the top floor. Left that there for them behind the flatage. Two days worth of build up with a capping and that was enough for me there!

so there's no truth in the rumour that you cleaned toilets at the westfield shopping centre and the only painting you did was to emulsion over the graffiti?

Health and safety would stop that. As we couldn’t be responsible for anyone getting injured or worse on the return!
They talk about their safety crossing, like any of us actually give a flying!

Look, we have stalled, sometimes by thirty years, on dealing with h and s claims. The same approach would deal with any that might arise here. Let’s put our, and all our citizens’s health and safety first and then work from there. Pronto.

Down in Dartmouth at the end of the river they have two forts, at each is where they used to attach chains to raise to stop incoming ships!
Like a Tower Bridge or Thames Barrier with a lifting mechanism- It’d be a big ask but very do able and think of the benefits to British steel!
