Has any horse ever won the Ayr Gold Cup on it's seasonal debut? I'm asking as I like Alfa Kellenic. Won last year's Silver Cup then finished 4th in a listed race at Ascot in October. Hasn't run since. It would be some training achievement if it were to win fto so has it been done before?
