Just watched him as they left the stalls , moved ever so slightly over towards the stand rails and got a nice position , then moved inside one before setting off after the leaders , a jockey brimful of confidence at the moment..

Law unto himself. Imagine if you had just backed Sunway today? Idiot ride. Great if you can avoid all of those which is basically impossible. Amazed at the number who cheerlead jocks on here when they can all go from the sublime to the ridiculous within half an hour. Just air brush away all the rubbish.

Diff, of course they make mistakes as was highlighted by ride on Sunway, but overall his judgement race wise is usually superb . Lester the greatest often made mistakes ,but it never took away his right to been called a wonderful reader of a race , I think Murphy was 90% right today and that's saying something...

Has anyone considered that he might have been riding to instructions on Sunway?

Not interested in being an also ran so I'd say he took a gamble on Sunway. More than likely would have been stuffed, whatever the tactics.
