Wouldn’t be too difficult especially on turf,probably 7lb better than most American riders tbh.
Rather to my surprise the OP is correct,though Dettori was only 5th by earnings,which is the more usual measure of success in The US.
He probably is better than most top US jockeys on turf,though not Flavien Prat who started his career in his native France.
It works the other way though. I wouldn't put Frankie on a horse in a top-class dirt race.

Frankie was always a good jockey when in top form but he was not always reliable. I remember a day at Salisbury when he was having his first rides back after a period out of action and he was well beaten on a short priced favourite. When he dismounted (certainly not a flying one) he was so out of breath that he could barely carry his saddle. Fair play to him for carrying on in the States though.
Has his money issues restricted countries he can ride in. (Serious question).
