I had a mate who had a horse with Dick Hern in the late 80s...he was told about the Nashwan gallop and we all had a few quid on

Yes Foyles must be my mistake I just remember Carson telling the story said the other horse was meant to lead until a certain point then Nashwan take over but Nashwan was too fast right from the get go and won by a distance.

He didn't get a single ride on a favourite or even one priced under 3/1. Poor show by the trainers over there not to give him a ride on one with at least a chance.
