Another pointless presenter that brings nothing to the party
By:
but, but, she's married to such a 'great' jockey we all love....
By:
Pretty though.
By:
Pretty Fugly 11kv and worse when her mouth opens imvho.
By:
Has she mentioned Yorkshire yet?
By:
Well I like her.
By:
Gorgeous lass

She could do with a little more brevity but when producers are yammering in your ear what do you do? Shut up? No. You have to find something relevant and rabbit on. It’s Chamberlin’s fault. He sets the strategy and tone for the programme. He tries to “humanise” it with his woke version of how the world should work.
Which is why it is utter drivel at times. |
By:
She should mention the dangers of race fixing conversations being recorded and the BHA deciding it's ok.
By:
Too cryptic and veiled for my puny brain. If you’ve got something to say please say it, clearly, frankly, so we can understand it.
By:
She offers her opinion, seems a nice honest friendly person.
Plus can live off Minnie hawk, for next few years. Given chamberlain, and Ollie and Francesca.. Need a bit of northern rough to not make it look to elite. |
By:
Leave the woman alone ffs, someone’s daughter and mother…..
By:
I would rather listen to her than Harvey and weaver any day,she fits in with Cumani imv…..
By:
i have no problems with Adele i like her and she gives a lot better paddock judgment than Francesca but yesterday after the first race at Goodwood she argued With Chapman that K Shoemark had no room to use his whip when clearly on the headon he did.
She came with the tired old trope of ''how many finishes have you rode Matt'', its this type of blind defence of jockeys that does 'pundits' no service at all, remember when she and Megan saw nothing wrong when Oisin Murphy cocked up earlier in the year on one Gosdens at Newcastle and were made to look foolish later on when he came on TV and apologised for getting the ride wrong and big kudos to him for doing so. |
By:
They say plenty when they retire tbh…
American riders get pelters… Pundits looking after their job and decent wages….. What do you think they say to themselves after losing a few quid about certain rides ? Much the same as everyday fodder tbh…. |
By:
Its the dismissive attitude of ex jockey pundits of those that weren't, its 'because you havn't ridden your opinion is worthless', remember the Lingfield derby trial when Kingscote was clearly easy on the Obrien second string and Ed mentioned it but was dismissed by Weaver as rubbish.
By:
Ed mentions a few tbh simply because he doesn’t mix with racing fraternity when he stops his day presenting….
Weaver and Harvey are not fit for purpose tbh…..some of the female pundits have more bottle imo |
By:
I agree with you Cropsick. Both recent posts.
By:
TBH I have no real judgement on the value of different presenters/pundits - because I don't listen to any of them. I've done perfectly well without having to rely on someone else's view of my bets!
By:
Stu, its not a view of what bets to have or not have its a review of the race in general there is only Walsh that can do it objectivly and give critcism in a way that wont sound like he is slagging anyone off, the others wont even attempt it.
By:
Chapman apart of course but only in certain circumstances.
By:
Hyslop….
By:
Fair enough crop, but TBH I just can't really be bothered hearing what they think - as already said it's mostly rubbish they spout before or after.

Who can judge a bad ride better.
A punter who watches 30 races a day over 20 years, Or a ex jockey who rode in 3 races a day over 20 years. If you’ve seen 100 s of jockeys over the years ,go for gaps, hold up horses, change hands etc. Why is your comparison of a ride based on all the rides you’ve seen, worth less if you’ve never ridden in a race. If anything ,you’re probably better placed to form a view. |
