I laid the winner in the foto fwiw, how someone is confident enough to pull the market down to 1.03 on that is far beyond me. It did drift out again after more replays.

1.02 to 1.25ish ...then hoovered

Hardly. The market wasn't sure on reopen, I'd say 20-30 seconds in, before any decent replays on rtv, a whale instantly took it to a spread of 1.02-1.03. With over a grand on the pink side @1.03 still there. After the replays it drifted back out to a more realistic price, but obviously there's no definitive replays from this course on a close one and I'd say it should have been a 50/50 market. The camera followed the 2nd and rtv pundits were leaning toward the runner up. And they the showed the picture after the result, a few pixels in it. Very lucky for the whale.

there's no way with the angle and the margin of victory  that any sane person  at the track could play at those odds  mitolo talking bull..no surprise there.

A tad confusing if the photo expert i.e the OP thinks a layer wishing to lay @ 1.03 somehow makes it unusual and leaving a grand @ 1.03 constitutes a load of money, £30 liability, are things so bad on the exchange?

I get that shafter, only time I have bet in a photo is for insurance and most traded probably the same but to say a load of money on the winner and then a grand left up as if it was a huge liability?
