Following the race, Oisin Murphy reported that DAZZLING HAZE, unplaced, was denied a clear run from 2
furlongs out until approaching the final furlong; and Rossa Ryan reported that GUERNSEY LADY (IRE),
unplaced, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong.

Releasing a book in October apparently. Searingly honest, a year in the life of a jockey.

Yawn.

His chauffeurs over the next 20 months have to get paid somehow.

The cynic in me thinks the recent incident in his career just helps to sell more books. He'd be better off keeping a low profile and rebuilding his career.

The lack of genuine remorse and humility in publishing the book shines through to be honest. Heaven knows what the passenger seriously injured as a result of his actions must think of it all.

Somerset Sam, genuine question, who led you to believe the passenger had been seriously injured?

Outshone by Billy Loughnane who is riding out of his skin.

Was it the initial police press release, or in various 'news' reports?

Well according to the judge, no-one was injured. So while the police were warning people not to spread misinformation online, the "seriously injured" story was being allowed to run.

"Searingly honest..."
Anyone who buys his book is a sandwich short of a picnic. This bloke chose to ring his cousin after crashing into a tree when intoxicated; refuse to give a specimen when requested by the police and accused some horseracing presenters/journalists much more intelligent and qualified than him as zealous.

He's so lucky (unlucky for some) this latest transgression has occurred in the UK. In some other countries My Murphy will be banned from riding immediately post his drink-driving episode. But, the UK does not respect or value righteousness, integrity, honesty, humility and respect.

It was the articles I read to be honest.

I was unaware the person wasn't injured. Regardless, its not a great look.
