No very strong and riding out his skin recently. Down to earth and gives a decent interview. Maybe it's his humble beginnings and background as to why he wasn't offered the job at juddmonte. Bit of a jump from the quinns granted as well as the ammunition but to my eye he's stronger in the saddle than keane and generally knows the pace of a race. He wins on horses that other jockeys wouldn't.

In his early days Jason was a bit cocky and sometimes did things his own way, which sometimes didn't go down too well with some, even though he was still successful and was riding well.
He had that bad accident and basically had to start from scratch, I believe that was the making of him. He battled his way through a multitude of mediocrity and is now riding better than ever. He is so strong in a finish and imo there is no better around on sprinters.
Been lucky enough to have been in his company z few times and he is a top bloke,

Good jockey tells u as it is ..if yer horse is useless or iffy he’ll tell yer.. probably the top trainers won’t like that . how he hasn’t got the Johnston gig I’ll never know

Very good jockey but mainly at Northern tracks like Tudhope and Mulrennan who are also a long way better than the average rider in the north. If they rode at every meeting at Ascot, Sandown and Newbury they might excel there as well but they don't.
