Needed Yaaser and Mr king for the place pot. Both gubbed. Latter never got out at all.
Paul as ive said before is an incredibly talented jockey, worthy of a top job.
yaaseer is a losing horse i know i keep expecting it to win next time ... it never does
rory is also a losing horse. but occassionally he is a winning horse

The horse didn't have the clearest of runs and looked to be going well..

3rd worst ride in the race after mullen (mr king)and kirrane (mysteryofthesands) - all three thought the inside was going to open up but why take the risk, so many tactically inept (or worse!) jockeys at present
They probably take the risk because 9 times out of 10 it does open up, no help if you were on today. Although the horse has ran well off 80, it's still 4lbs above its last winning mark and granted the trainer can massively improve these older horses.
Horses are an herd animal,plus like cycling there’s the slip stream effect,so tucking in sort of makes sense,then save energy and ounce.

But many times we ve seen a good one,drop back race wide to make sure they won’t,
Given these 70-80 rated horses have nothing between them,any edge you can get,makes the difference,
It is what it is,pointless moaning about jockeys,waste of energy and time.it wasn’t to be today,just accept it,and move on.

There is that much racing now do we honestly believe that all the jockeys required to ride these horses everyday is of sufficient talent as there was in the past. less racing, and only the best jockeys and trainers will
survive and prosper as in the past.
