Awful ride from Moore and Buick. I think both were too far off the pace, and wide. A wasted trip for both.

Garden of Eden was in trouble a long way out there..
2nd Innora very unlucky, I think the saddle slipped, Lukas Delozier did well to stay on. |

Plain as day you can't come wide on that tight track.

The blind following the blind. I think Moore and Buick have a tracker attached to each other's cap. It's just too common to be merely a coincidence.
I'm glad Fallen Angel finally gets back to winning ways in Deauville today since her Irish 1000G triumph last May. She beat January in a ding-dong finish; Tudhope and Burke the winning combo. |

The French trainer pulled his horse out because of the wide draw. Moore was up against there as you sling in quick to the bend on the track.

Declared non-runner this Sunday in the Preis der Diana (Gr. I), in Germany, the recent winner of the Thiberville (L.) Prize, Kiamba, will be reviewed during the summer in Deauville, as we learned from her mentor, Mario Baratti: 'The filly is doing very well. It’s just a question of the number on the ropes (she should have started from stall 14, editor’s note). Since she is in full progress, I didn’t want to prevent her from achieving a good result. Having a number on the rope beyond 7 or 8 at this racecourse in Düsseldorf is a handicap because the turn arrives quite quickly after the start. We will therefore fall back on the Prix Minerve (group III which pays tribute to Lady O'Reilly and which will compete on August 17), in Deauville.
