Lost more lengths out the stalls than he was beaten. Write up says 'no telling impression', but that just isn't true. Doyle has done very well to keep him out of the four. Once he extricated the horse from the shemozzle as is his want he spent the rest of the straight waiting for the horse to take him forward rather than providing enough encouragement to actually make him competitive. Just typical powder puff stuff.
