pre-race rico.  Wondering if someone could tell me by phone  the betfair price when i'm in the betting ring.   They can't log on because I would guess the wife doesn't allow.

they refresh every 20-30 seconds when not logged in, but appear to be made up prices, up to 10% either way compared to live prices

even at the point they refresh they are up to 10% out

Yeah it seems all over the place Tiger. I've got more than one computer  but can't put a time difference on it.

I remember last year they said it was 5 minutes to stop people taking advantage of the data when they had no intention of betting.  Seems reasonable to me, I'd do the same.

thanks marks. Yeah it looks useless. Suppose I could phone if I could get through and decide whether to have a fifty or not.  Would be putting more on with books. Save anyone asking I can only deposit ton a month on here.

Why don't you just open the BF app on your phone?

not a phone /apps man longbridge.  Live in a place that can't pick up mobile internet and just use a payg phone which uses data and charges when just switched on. Told vodafone to switch it off. Off course I could buy a new phone and pay plenty every month for using at about 3 big race meetings a year.  Might still be worth it. Maybe not.

Also don't like the idea of using mobile phone with plenty of strangers/potential thiefs nearby. If they nick your phone while you are logged in...

Never had a bet on here via a mobile in my life either
