Only bet today, but backed him at 9/1 each-way before Opera Ballo came out. Much rather one of the two taken out had stayed in.

I actually think he wants 10 furlongs with some cut. Even softer might have been better to inconvenience the others. He is the strong stayer in the field, and I hope and expect Moore to ride him forward. If anyone else is allowed to go forward they will almost certainly just set a crawl. Moore needs to make absolutely sure that doesn't happen. I think the favourite is likely best on better ground, and even then probably at shorter than a mile. He has been very weak and the bookmakers probably wouldn't mind too much if he won.

A shame Opera Ballo has been scratched because of the ground no doubt. Where is Levey? He's ridden King Of Cities many times. Is he suspended or elsewhere?

I would imagine a choice between Moore and Levey, and no surprise at the outcome. Moore rode the horse on by far it's best run. Not sure what has happened to the winner of that race, but they left the rest of the field way behind.

I like Cosmic Year for its price. He's also highest rated. I just hope connections have not over-raced him, and the ground has dried out sufficiently; 3.55 is a good price.

Awful ride by Keane. No plan B for Cosmic Year. A plonker of the highest order. I feel sorry for his backers.

Poor! Poor! Poor! A 4-runner race, and his pilot has traffic problem. Another calamity for punters of Cosmic Year and Juddmonte courtesy of his jockey.

Poor effort from Moore. Maybe Levey would have been a better option? He has gone to go forward, but not committed fully, and allowed the other two to dictate to him. It's left him just staying on, but never looking as if he was quick enough to win.

I think doggies races are easy to decipher. There is no monkey on their back. The pacer is an extremely good judge of pace too.
