Will it endorse the Derby form or send it the way of F.O.G.?

This AOB horse was somewhat adrift of Serious Contender in March so surely shouldn’t figure. Why has he brought it?

I hope it's not the Timeform pick. MERCHANT It's my Laybet

Amiloc says Galveston should beat Sir Dinadan. What a race to watch and not play.

Not watching. I see race is delayed. Are the beavers moving in?

Have played Galveston, at 2.47 ish to beat Sir Dinadan. Amilloc taken at face value.

Favourite just about fell over the line. They will be hoping he is a lot better than that on quicker ground.
Sir Dinadan, the horse that came in for support because of the ground, ran a shocker. From the moment the jock couldn't lead, never looked likely. |

Nor did Galveston. Not often an AOB is virtually pulled up. Last, 39 lengths. 22 behind Dinadan.

Market didn't want that, but Sir Dinadan halved in price.
Interesting to see what happens with Whirl. Relatively weak in the market compared to Bedtime Story. I would have thought that anything to make it a stiffer test of stamina would be a plus for the favourite. Surprised if Moore doesn't set out to make all. |
