You favour the 'nothing is anyone's fault' view, then, do you? |
|
By:
the problem is its not even ground , rails length faster .

If the surface isn't safe in mid summer then someone's to blame. CofC following BHA orders that says no 'firm' allowed. It's mid summer, it's barely rained, leave the grass long it's far safer than horses taking the top off. If connections don't like it, stay away.

You claimed that it is Good to Soft ground, colonel.
It isn't, as the times consistently show. Horses injure themselves on all going but, don't let the facts get in the way of your ludicrous statement |

Are you saying that: It was a good idea for an old horse to be in a race he had a vanishingly small chance of winning? Someone had to take the decision for him to be racing, whoever it was, by default, takes the blame for his premature death. Are you saying that: The ground hasn't been misreported despite - as ITV Racing grudgingly mentioned today - several trainers complaining about the turf yesterday? If it has been misreported then that is wrong and person or persons are at fault and therefore accountable to be blamed. Are you saying that the various factors involved in the fiasco of the 3.05 have no cause, and therefore no agent of cause, and therefore are all blameless? I don't think anyone could say that. |

The fiasco was caused by jockeys sitting too far of a modest pace Colonel, nothing more.

None other than Mr Showbiz Smiles Ryan Moore opined that it was good soft this lunchtime on national television. All other organs of news have it that it is good. As going is the most important factor in racing, this is a serious problem and will have cost punters a fortune in miscalculated form study. It happens time and again and is another reason this sport has the appalling reputation it does. |

the times are influenced by golden highways, its soft in the center

Oh that's all right, then! Millionaire jockeys, top of their game, fu ck up a Group 1, handing a fortune to the bookies, turn the feature race into a joke. Nothing to worry about, nothing to speak of. By the way, small voice, that means you JUST BLAMED SOME PEOPLE - blame culture! Blame society! Oh, it's so awfy to be blaming all the time! |
