Becket said in post race interview that the plan was to run steady 12sec furlongs on Qirat, he also mentioned later that he persuaded Juddmonte to run in the race, Kingscote expedited his instructions almost to the letter. The other jockeys were pretty much all in group think, except for Ryan Moore, even Sean Levey admitted later that he should have got closer to the front but was stimied (my words) by the other horses not making a move.

we dont have 3 furlong races so if your having a rolling 2/3f race and your given an 8 lgth lead,their are no ratings, any speedy short runner over 5 is going to beat a miler or run it close over 2 furlongs with an 8 length start
