From 1st August 2025 one of the following symbols will appear alongside your 'Topic/replies' figure whenever you create a new topic or post a reply.:-

?  So few posts to date, the forumite is suspect or he/she can’t be assessed with confidence 

+  The forumite may be open to improvement (spelling, grammar, punctuation etc.,)

§ The forumite is unreliable (for temperament or other reasons)

§§  The forumite is so temperamentally unsatisfactory as to not be worth a rating

x   The forumite displays delusions of grandeur

xx  The forumite's communication skills are so poor as to not be worth a rating

p  The forumite is a prick

P  The forumite is a prick with a capital 'P'

...Anyone you've got in mind for reason.. x, or p,or P ?

No arrant rogues or thorough jades?

Timeform appear to have dropped those descriptions a few years ago, screaming.

I've informed the moderators and they have agreed to amend the §§ definition as follows:-

§§  The forumite is an errant rogue and/or a thorough jade and is therefore so temperamentally unsatisfactory as to not be worth a rating

"Errant" rogue is a good one.
