ROMAN FORUM 5:50PM LA TESTE DE BUCH FRANCE :- looks to have a great chance today, and everything seems to be falling into place for a BIG RUN today
The ground is good to soft, which should really suit him — he’s shown before that he can handle a bit of cut, and it helps bring out his finishing kick. The 7 furlongs (1400 metres) is also spot on for him. He’s got a good mix of speed and stamina, and this trip looks ideal at this stage of his career.
He’s only had a few runs so far, but there’s been plenty to like — he’s lightly raced, still improving, and looks like a horse with a few gears to call on. That turn of foot could be the difference today, especially in a race where not many rivals look likely to finish strong.
One big plus is that Maxime Guyon is in the saddle — a top jockey and a real upgrade. The yard clearly means business here. Roman Forum also drops down in grade today, after running in tougher company last time where he had a slight hoof issue — that’s behind him now, and he’s in much calmer waters today.
He’s drawn a little wide, but with Guyon on board and this horse’s ability to settle and finish, it shouldn’t be a problem.
The current price of 7/2 looks really good value. On form and conditions, he should probably be around 6/4 (2.50), so if you fancy him, now looks a great time to get on. He could easily go off favourite and shorten to around 6/4 or less by the off.

Ton on here split between 2 big books and an independant bookie.Independant guy changed odds to 2/1 after I took 100/30 off him:)All cash.
Most of us are closed/heavily restricted by 365 so no move there.Good luck all.A few mates down the local bookies are following me with this horse.
Shops near me will only take small/medium stake bets from most people now.Days of big bets are over.They only want fobt players nowadays.

What pmbets has failed to mention is that although this 5.50pm horse is his bet of the year so far , his first bet of the year was in the 3.25pm race at Pontefract

Unlucky you put such a good case that I had a little bit e.w so no damage done really.
It wasn’t the bet of the year at those odds. But guys you can’t knock a guy for trying to get an edge and looking for one.
Bet of the year may have overstated it slightly - at least you would hope, seen as it lost, or rest of year must be bad for selections...
