anyone having a bet on the straight course on fri night,sat morning and backing a horse drawn high ,would have been far better off ,betting at portmen park,buying a lottery tkt or a scratch card

anyone skillful enough to work out in a 5 runner £1.5 mill race ,the worlds greatest trainer and jock were going to use tactics no one in the world could have predicted as they were in the stalls

You can't beat the casino slots unless you land on a miracle  1 in billion jackpot. You can beat the markets long term betting on sprint horse racing. As if you have an edge from putting in study, acquire the skill of race reading etc, it should be reflected in the long term. If you couldn't, there wouldn't be so many of us restricted to pennies, would there. Nobody is restricted on the online casino.

These days you can make a living out of commentating. Don't need to pick winners.

People can win long term betting on genuine events that have not happened yet. Unlike random casino games with a coded in house edge. Whether you do or not isn't really the point. People can and do learn and win at betting on events, it's an achievable goal, there's an incentive to get better. Unlike casino games.

You can't really get better at the national lottery or omaze, or bingo, or any of the other types of betting that society has been gaslit to be viewed as being more acceptable.

I don't get particularly irritated by too much these days, but the fluffy glossy mainstream ads (omaze, postcode lottery, national lottery, bingo, euro millions et al) do irritate me significantly, you can probably tell). They target people with despicable, implausible hope, selling the unobtainable dream, and it's often varnished with supposedly doing good/helping charity. Meanwhile untold amounts scalped off the uneducated/unwary).Uggh makes my blood boil!

I have shown improvement with the National Lottery this year. I even won a free lucky dip last week.

All what Cider says above irritates me too, what I don't understand is that all of these ads are always unashamedly thrust into our faces and often at tea times with kids watching, The Chase and other shows are sponsored by bingo sites.....but it's completely at odds with the supposed societal move against gambling, it's like they don't realize that this is one and the same thing.
