stew, I get what you mean, but I think the anger is against the sly monster bookie organisations knowing they are hooking addicts with clever machines and marketing.

The thing is all addictions can be terrible like you say, but these bookies use machines to try to make people addicted. They are so cleverly constructed to create addiction. Usually aimed at people who could only afford tiny stakes too.
Sooner bookie casinos shut down the better IMO. Then they should only be allowed to going back to actually being a bookie and taking bets!
