Lifeplan, apparently a bit of looker according to the paddock judges, landed some nice bets at Thirsk and won in a relatively fast time.

When I saw he cost six-figures and is by Kodi Bear, it reminded me of Cowardofthecounty, likewise who is by that sire, cost six-figures and has a bit about him physically.

He defeated Whistlejacket when they were both making their debuts at the Curragh last year, when looking more in need of the experience than that rival, who was well backed and seemed to know his job, and of the pair, I would have said that the Coward' would have been the one to really go on and improve a lot, but it didn't work out that way, for all the Coward' did go and win a French Group 3, but essentially became a disappointing sort.

So it will be interesting to see how Lifeplan progresses (or regresses) and he was in receipt of 10lb today from the runner-up when Zak's 3lb claim is factored in.

You rest your case?  No tip but a question.  If it wins YOU search out the thread and look for applause, if it loses you forget it ever happened and let the thread slip away into nevermentionedagainland.  CON MAN.

LoyalHoncho sounds very angry, ten minutes of seething between your two posts.

You're not the brightest either because my post at 15.06 should have told you I wasn't looking for applause.

uptheirons, there is only one question left to ask: who gave 10lb away to the subsequent Gimcrack winner at Thirsk?

A) Flying Comet, who has since only finished 5th in a valuable French sales race on ground described as soft.

The third from Thirsk, Kinnalargy, runs in a Listed race at York tomorrow.

The fact that you went and dug your own July post out and bumped it up proves otherwise.  If you done so pre-race actually tipped it up  you would have had mine.  Applause that is.

I think he got a quote of 33s on the day of his Thirsk win for the Gimcrack, so I was hardly likely to bring the thread back up to tip it at around a fifth of those odds.

By the way, there are maiden / novice race winners just about every day of the Flat turf season, I only highlighted one of them a month in advance of the Gimcrack. Keep seething dude.

Great call whatever. But must be worst Gimcrack ever with five race maiden starting favourite though that doesn't stop the winner being very useful with impressive turn of foot.
