Canadian Frederick Bourgault, 27, was convicted of all charges against him in connection with the killing of the horse named Finish Line in July 2023 at the Pine Bush Training Facility in Crawford, New York. Bourgault was convicted of criminal mischief in the second degree for having “damaged” the horse which had an estimated value of at least five thousand dollars, according to a press release from the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
