Keep your powder dry George imo, the forecast on now gives a 75 mile radius from London as the most in danger.

Does anyone think it's not an easy process to get the latest going at some racecourses eg Newbury today? Ancient Wisdom has been withdrawn in the 1st.

Market Rasen forecast looks awful.
Summer hurdle ,and Summer plate Chase could be decimated if the forecast is correct.

Your very welcome foyles and good luck to you also ,I feel those who get involved today may well need extra luck with the weather situation perhaps the lions and the golf would be a wiser way of spending the day,

The first race at Newbury virtually bang on standard time, with the wind reported as virtually nil, so I think we can conclude from that the ground is on the quick side of good.

well if Newmarket get what we have had for the last 3 -4 hours in London it will be soft, no doubt about it.

Very sad to see so many withdrawn at a big meeting but it is raining. So far none this last 2 weeks in my part of Somerset! Felds and lawns like deserts.
