The standard of journalism at the racing pist is
So poor these days, not one of them can I click On, an read their articles ? Most of them seem to be There owing to there ages, to hopefully reach a Type of younger reader. And the standards plummet As a result |

"When considering around 500,000 people flock to Brighton for Pride weekend" Don't believe Brighton has anything like those numbers of visitors for that weekend. She makes it sound like people wouldn't be there other weekends.

They shouldn't have let her escape from making the tea...her articles are not thought out and any tipping is just pure guesswork...Jennings criticised her a while ago..some"article"she did about Aiden's horses

What is it about Brighton? It's not that long ago we had to wade through acres of newsprint each year about that gaff track from Ian Carnaby or David Ashforth.
As for Maddy Playle, she was a breath of fresh air when she joined the Post but you get the impression they don't really know what to do with her anymore. She writes a usually dull column in the Weekender and occasionally pops up on a tipping webcast if Keals or Tom Segal is busy and Rodders and Wilders can't make it either. Lee Mottershead gets first dibs on the colour pieces. So what's left? I went to a kid's party and saw no posters. |

Perhaps it just goes to show what an irrelevance routine Horse Racing is to the vast majority of people. Zero interest.

Anyone with any modicum of sense should be able to deduce that the residents of Brighton are more likely to be the imbeciles that make up extinction rebellion than be the crowd that goes Brighton racecourse. Id even go as far as to say that heavy promotion of a race day in Brighton city centre would be like red flag and bull to the cretinous protest gangs. Slow news day article and Maddy, do me a favor love, don't compare York to Brighton again. Embarrassing. I live an hour away from Brighton and bar some decent restaurants it's a cesspit. Seedy. York is leagues ahead in every measure. But you already knew that. Another disingenuous RP article by Mads. She'll soon be on mottersheads level of churning out bile and tripe.

Brighton has very unfortunately become a bit of a hole. The smell and sight that you are greeted with when exiting the station is not good.
The last time I went the stench of pish was everywhere, there were blokes walking about with no shoes on shouting the house down and going to the ATM needed SAS operation style planning. I used to go to the three day "festival" every year but havn't attended now for 4/5 years...Used to love going racing there with my Dad as it felt like a little trip away for a then London resident. Such a shame but like some other seaside towns down South its gone all pretend retro and drug fuelled. |

Google has plenty of good reviews for Brighton, no mention of smelling of Uric Acid on there.
