3 mile + hurdlers/chasers are my favourite races. Does anyone solely bet on just these type of races ?
Do you use a system or look for certain attributes before making a selection ie C&D, current form etc
Interested in your views.. thanks in advance

I use the same system for all races over all distances.

Betting on handicap debutants stepping up in trip in poor handicap hurdles is a gold mine.

Celtic warrior,

Betting on handicap debutants stepping up in trip in poor handicap hurdles is a gold mine.

These are Tuesday 14th July Handicap Hurdle races, could someone list the selections that meet the above criteria in each race.

Looks like everyone went down the gold mine without their pit helmets and a canary. Laugh

Interesting so the idea is to back them once, the first time they step up in distance?

top2rated, what tool do you use to analyse race patterns to produce a list like that?

Storm Alert, I used the 'system builder' on horseracebase.com

After choosing the variables e.g. Race Type, Race Distance, etc., etc, I added another variable simply to produce the the list of recent winners which was

and that was set to '1st' place.

bettysboy, I'm sure the system originator, Celtic Warrior, won't have missed Cinderello in the 17:10 at Uttoxeter yesterday.

Cinderello won at 95.0 BSP and ticked all three boxes..

First run in a Handicap

Up in trip from 2m3f to 2m7½f

Down in Class from Class 4 to Class 5 race

Can't leave this thread without a special mention for fellow forumite hulk23 who alone was responsible for moving a general ring-price of 40/1 out to an astronomical 94/1 BSP.
