The courts involved.
How much would the defendants have been able to get on?.
Surly the markets would be deemed 'novelty betting.
The liabilities would nave been minimal with the traders shutting up shop quickly.
How much will this case cost.
Cant be in the public interest. Why are they pleading not guilty when the paper trail is so damning.

All bar one were betting in tenners iirc.

And what paper trail? Aiui they are not denying placing the bets. Two obvious questions are: did they actually know the election date and if so, was even that illegal?
