Second run today and he isn't going off short thanks to the presence of the Gosden horse. I would have liked to have seen him over a much easier 7f. I have the favourite at this stage as wanting a mile so I assume the market thinks he will outstay the Godolphin runner. Can Buick get on the front end and dictate a slow pace?

Looking for one at a silly price in that race at 3 figures, since there's so so much variance in these 2 year old maidens, i'd throw a shekel or two at the Menusier horse, Westender. I think he's had 6 2 year olds run so far, with 2 winning on their debut, maybe the last 2(?). Sire Nathaniel suggests stamina longer trip necessary, but recent rain will help, official going good, but probably overwatered; dam produced a 5f winner.

Favorite is a 110+ horse in the making. It will not be beaten

Professionals jumped on Publish and most prob ran a good time last out after dwelling at start and further interference, but at 2/5 seems a bit short when it has a good challenger in Catullus who has a good run at Newmarket.

....Publish is a big galloper of a horse.....can only be beaten by Mr Doyle p1ssing about on him...IMO

good luck richgit ,the world and his dog are raving about publish ,looked unlucky on debut and may be the next coming but often backing unlucky horses leads to the poorhouse and both he and catulus both too short for me and tho it may be a surprise if they do not fight out the finish I like to take these types on and I like a couple at crazy odds chapter was not knocked about on debut well bred should improve and around 200/1 plus on here this morning I had some ,also backed domination who also has a bit of exp should improve and around 100/1 small wins and the places on here . by the betting the front 2 should be too classy but all are lightly raced or debutantes and any can improve massively .good luck .

I’m with you FOYLES. Unlucky horses often have a knack for remaining so.

I was at NM when Catulls ran. In the pre parade ring it looked very burley so id expect it to improve significantly fitness wise for the run

Won easy enough the fav, much the stronger in the last furlong

As suggested he might it looked as if Publish outstayed Catullus. Nothing flash. Buick seemed to make it easier by giving up the lead and not getting his horse over to the rail. Catullus will win over an easier 7f.

Sylvester got animated on The Joker, which for punters is a welcome sight. Only gave it two feels of the whip. According to the comm. it was” well backed back in third”.
