the track announcement of the full result. This is infuriating! Want to know what was 3rd? While the announcement can
be detected in the background we can't hear it because the TV pundits have to immediately analyse the race instead of
giving us the most important piece of information THE RESULT!

I agree. Irritating and they should be attuned to stopping as they hear it being announced. You would think.

fed up of telling them tbh. They do it all the time. It is not unusual for the result to be given well over 10 minutes after the race. Cunningham is the best bloke on this. He always shuts up and say " 10 - 3 -7 the final result" or something

Yes I always end up having to search in another website for the result with the delays that involves .They have forgotten that punters ,yes the most important people,have waged money on the outcome .Tell us the full RESULT before you start describing how the race went .

I used to work just below an airport flight path. It just became second nature to stop, pause and wait when the big guys took off. After a while you didn’t even notice the noise. I remember a guy being incredulous - “how do you cope with that all day long”?
You get used to it, as simple as that. So could they if they really were motivated to give the customer what he wants. |
