Yes....but how come, nobody else seems to have.

By:
Are you sure it's kosher?
By:
Apparently so...
Paddy Power and Betfair recently detected that an unauthorised third party had gained access to limited betting account information related to some of our customers. We want to be transparent and have therefore taken the step of informing impacted customers and making them aware of the measures we have taken. |

Why have I had to wait until the last 30 mins to receive my Email?
By:
Important people first. Mines due a week on Tuesday.
By:
Is it possible to have username changed? I would wish to do that in light of this development.
By:
don't know that. wouldn't try myself might make 'em wonder who the crook is.
By:
I previously asked for that when there were fraudulent attempts to access account but they claimed they can't do that..(I'm sure they could)..if you do notice attempts on your account it's worth changing the associated email with the account to one you know to be breach free as often the attempts are email related not username.
By:
* the benefit being you know whether the attempted accessor has your username or just an email address ..though the best thing is to use the two step authentication.
By:
Well I have never enabled email log in
By:
Have had 2 Step Authentication active for over a decade.
Not happy about this breach though, identity theft is a real thing and crooks are becoming cleverer and cleverer |
By:
indeed, the very limited disclosure about it is poor as well..
By:
Just received mine an hour ago
By:
I want some more meat on the bones with this, was this a targeted hack similar to what M&S et al experienced?
By:
Received one from Paddy and one from Betty half an hour ago...main worry is they seem to have the first line of addresses and postcode(last line of address)...
By:
Ive already started to receive some very unsavoury e-mails into my spam folder in the last couple of days.
![]() |
By:

By:
yep, sorry about that..

And they wonder why we don't want to send them our wage slips and bank statements
![]() ![]() |
By:
just got it today, so it looks like everyone's dets have been taken imo, and they are just working thru the emails. - anyone got a spam email from "VIP club" saying "successful deposit"?
By:
...they seem to have the first line of addresses and postcode(last line of address). " Probably best not to boast about how many nelsons you've won on the forum
By:
including your name and the first line of your address and city
also they say it doesn't include any usable card or payment details. wtf does that mean? If the name of the bank was revealed, it isn't "useable", but with the other details, it is a pretty good start at enabling a bank account hack. |
By:
dave I'm no expert but everytime I spend money I get a code sent to my mobile. That's pretty good protection isn't it ?
By:
A One Time Passcode. They are probably a decent step towards protection but they’re a pain in the arris when you’re spending a small amount and have to wait for a code.
I’ve not had an email. |
