Some trainers see PR as a vital part of their job. Others would much prefer to speak to nobody apart from the owner and jockey. Jonny Portman just does his job well and relies on good owners coming to him.

thady and co are only there for the social media side,finding new owners etc,you need your bumps feeling if you think he,s training the horses

Thady looks uncomfortable doing media to me.....His old man pushed him forward for interview at Royal Ascot, and he basically brushed the old man off and hid....

He will be training the horses soon enough,,,John wont be around forever.
