There's not many businesses that would continue to employ somebody who is as basically incompetent as he is these days(always?) as a commentator. His commentary earlier this week in a big field sprint handicap at Thirsk was laughable. He regularly fails to identify placed horses which surely is his prime responsibility. Fair play to him he has added a new catchphrase - 'Over to you Mr Judge' to avoid having to look too closely at any finish under a lenghth.

The yell of "OVER TO YOU MR JUDGE!" did not go down well at all with the young, female judge who was on duty at Thirsk.
