Are you on it? Looks very hard to me but no doubt one of them can jump and stay 2 miles.

It's not the 1st 3 year old hurdle this season

sageform, the first one is usually, as it was this season, at Hexham on Derby Day and mischievously called "Most Important 3-Year-Old Race Today Juvenile Hurdle".

I didn't recognise any of the runners in that one, nor the one this evening, so not sure I'll be reviving the thread this season, which is probably a good thing given how the Flat one has gone (so far).

Good luck barstool.

sageform, a god turnout for the first Irish one of the season - 5.00 Tipperary - 14 runners.

Thanks for the heads up George, Must admit I am torn between tennis, cricket (England dire) and enjoying the weather but I will look at the 3yo hurdle. There are three nurseries today!

The right 4 seem to be backed for the 3yo hurdle. Junkyard Dog has won on the flat and run OK over 12 furlongs which I like to see. Hawkesbury Legend took my eye as I used to live 3 miles from Hawkesbury Upton but his flat win was only worth RPR 54. By Nathaniel though so could be improving. Not sure how Minella Study earned a RPR of 68. Felicity Smoak improved a lot for 10 furlongs. She might be the e/w shout.

Thanks for the analysis and good luck, sageform.

Thanks George. Hope you find one on the flat soon. I won't be betting on nurseries.

Got Minella wrong. The Minella name plus the breeder (Rausing) seemed to do the trick. The mare ran well though considering she was 3 wide most of the way round. The Joseph O'Brien one looked to be tailing off at one stage but rallied for third.

Surely Georginio must have a great eway chance even though it is drifting.
