he was very odd, the funniest time was during x country, in those days they'd send us out the side gates round some fields and a golf course and then back in through the other end up the school drive, he hid his mask under a teachers car and when he returned up the drive he was a storm trooper, got caned for that one

Remember in / from the mid to late eighties, william hill used to do a full results service on the phone, it was free, 158 or 168 i think, used to call that regular if i hadn't caught the results during the day, sometimes in the early hours after a night out. ps i once listened to probably those days radio 2 with terry wogan for the then 4 days of r ascot and even that was class with peter bromley doing the commentary, dont even think bbc radio cover ascot any more, could be wrong though
