wonderfyl stuff, whaw miss the bbc racing it really was class then, whaw what a performance to get marju vack to win the sjames palace after running in the derby so soon, ( cant recall it been done since )and delium hammering the derby winner, great great stuff

absolutely shocking coverage. Nobody asked, pre-race, whether any of the horses would give a good account of themselves and, scandalously, after winning these big races worth loads of £,the apex of their season no doubt, nobody was asked where the horse would go to next! Indeed, how on earth can viewers enjoy an afternoon of racing without interviews!! They are the most important part of the coverage so as to provide employment for egotistic, talentless, annoying freeloaders with voices that could provoke you to violence.

pandora, i dont like claire balding , but agree with you, it was class even then, but it was magic with julian, mercer . lindley, sir peter, and gorgeous eve pollard doing the fashion, cant recall who used to give the latest odds and the result , great voice ?
