Be part of history and have a bet on this doggie.

Bockos Diamond running in the Derby final at Towcester Saturday.

He started out as the fav for the event and has got into the final.

Has got the perfect draw in trap 6 and at 11/10 rates as a good bet it is without doubt the fastest dog in the race.

Has already won the Irish Derby and I for one hope to see it add the English.

Good luck

Fastest times at Towcester

De Ladedah 28.50
Bocko's Diamond 28.51

De Ladedah equalled the track record during the English Derby competition that he won last year.

De Ladedah and Bockos Diamond were generously priced last saturday. De Ladedah missed the break but got up to win; Bockos Diamond (Tp 6) was swiftly away and won easily. But, he missed the break the time before when in Tp 5.

Is there a Derby roar at Towcester like it did at White City many moons ago? If so, either or both could fluff the start (again).

Each to their own but I haven't backed a dog for 25 years and it wasn't easy then

stop putting doubts into your head impossible, i've been going to the dogs for 70 years and Bockos is the fastest dog i have ever seen, there won't be the same derby roar at towcester as the running track is at least 50 yards from the stand, also the price to get in is absurd, greyhound punters just want to see the dogs and have a punt. cheers

Faster than Yankee Express? He was prolific at the traps. Concentration was another until he faced the wrong way one Derby meeting.

The last time I was at a doggie meeting was at Catford many, many moons ago. What's the admission now?

yes Yankee was a real flyer sprinter type but i'm talking about the derby distance, on final night I believe it is £45 because of the fun day starting at 10 am and going on until the band plays on after the last race, the last time I was at Towcester you got in for nothing being part of the restaurant booking but the sun paper gave out free tickets for the early rounds. cheers.
