2025 derby

a very open looking race and Aiden runs 3 Delacroix ,the lion iw and lambourne ,Ryan rides Delacroix and he is progressive with solid form in the book but short enough ,the lion has to put the Dante run behind him but has questions to answer imo. Augusta Rodin and city of Troy both flopped on their 3 yo debuts and won the derby but Ryan was on and he jumps ship today. lambourne could be in to make sure its a  proper stamina test for his stablemates .
pride of arras was a good winner of the Dante and unbeaten has room for plenty of improvement should go well ,guineas winner ruling court has had the form boosted by the 2nd field of gold and green impact and will be a threat to all if he stays could be more  10f horse  but justify  sired last years winner and  the female side of his pedigree looks to have enough  stamina in the blood  any stamina issues will be tested and  he seems to be on the drift  but its all about price and if he were to go into double figgas on here then I will go in for a saver as he looks the class horse here.midak is unbeaten 3 from 3 should get the trip but his wins have come in small fields this is a bigger test but no surprise to see him run a big race .
at bigger odds I like the chance of the gosdens damysus who won his only 2 yo start and has looked progressive in 2 derby trials this year running on into 3rd at sandown despite looking green and an excellent 2nd in the Dante running on strongly at the line the step up in trip should suit  yard have won this before he ticks a fair few boxes imo.
also like the look of the other Frenchie new ground who was 2 from 2 as a 2yo and has had a couple of preps in smallish fields this season not btn far and running on as tho a step up in trip would suit he could outrun his odds and with 4 places on offer most firms  and 5 places on here may be worth an ew pop .
