Sabalenka was very annoyed with herself. She played the worst Final ever, she said. She's flown off to Mykonos for a short holiday no doubt to try and forget it all.
And will be indulging in alcohol and sugar....bit like acey but without the flight to Mykonos

I've bought and cooked rice from Senegal during my student days. I think Senegal is a far better footballing nation than Andorra. I believe Senegal could give the dozy lions a scare maybe even a spanking if the "lions" played as if they were tranquilised against Andorra.

I stopped watching at half-time. I'd an inclination the "dozy" lions would be caught napping again.
The present England team is nothing like the one when Mr Southgate repeatedly screwed up at the crucial stage of every competition despite repeatedly gifted an easy passage; England were the best team in Europe and had a group of young talented players then.
Now, the only big name with any consistency is Kane, possibly Saka too. Bellingham is jaded, and probably regressing; Walker gives his best, but definitely on the decline; Palmer and Gordon are inconsistent. I like new players Eze and Madueke.
This is not Mr Tuchel's fault. He inherited a squad of "oldies" and a bunch of youngsters not quite International standards yet. A period of rebuilding is inevitable and necessary.

tbf it was a friendly not a semi final or something important ,not saying it was a good performance but i wouldn't take too much notice of it !
England played better last night than against Andorra. The latter was a competition qualifier. Nevertheless, it was a poor performance against Senegal. And, it was visibly evident even from watching the 1st half only.
I do not blame Mr Tuchel. I hope he's radical, and possibly bin those persistent underperformers eg Palmer and Gordon, even Bellingham, and try out new players in the squad.

The concerning fact about such a statement is not that he made it or the fact he wont honour it, its the fact that the forum (full of mostly strangers) means so much to acey.
