With 3 yos finding huge improvement for being upped in distance after having 3 runs for a h'cap mark. Shabu Shabu in the first at Leicester currently 2/1 fav and has booked Fred "Arthur" Daly to take 1/2 stone off its back.
Has no form to speak off but by Australia should need further than distance ran over so far. Race is pretty diabolical with only 3 other horses under 20/1 on betfair.
Any knowledge of his modus operandi with this sort of horse?

He doesnt really but he does have a fair record with his switchers from the All Weather to the turf at this time of year.

Thanks Tiger, did notice he has a 25% SR with his 3 yos at Leicester and is currently 5/11 with 3 yos since beginning of May, but only a small LSP showing that most of his winners are short priced.
Lets see how market goes nearer the off, jockey having 1st rides for him today but is 2/5 on his rides on 3 yos on turf so far, can't read too much into it imo.

ive not spotted much as a standout, he's just pretty consistent & horses generally run ok even if they don't win

you'd probably take extra note if he used hd or om

^ agree with elise - he's pretty consistent generally.

Also agree with you Stewarts (that most of his winners are short priced). I haven't looked at a database (maybe one of you could?), so it might just be a bit of casual "confirmation bias" on my part - but I'd guess his runners at maybe 2/1 or shorter have a pretty good strike rate/LSP.

I know nothing about Fred Daly - but the trainer knows the time-of-day with regard to his jockeys (imo). Seems to use a lot of jockeys and seems to (generally speaking) do better on AW than turf.

Thanks for your contributions lads, wouldn't be a backer at 2/1 ish, not my thing, Cuda been a rowlex might be a copy of a racehorse but has at least won a race over 10fs and has no weight, could be overpriced at 33s for a small EW interest.

Not someone i've taken much notice of Elise, has a decent SR but winners tend to be well supported is all i could say really.

Ran like they expected a much better showing as market suggested, just glad i don't back shorties with no actual form, my EW pick led as thought he would but weakened into 5th, at least traded down to 6 IR for traders.
