Thats the first time for a long time that french racing has been on the LV - Is it just todays racing from Chantilly or is it back on LV for regular meetings?

Barged his team-mate out of the way up the inside, who them bumped the closing second. A lot more contact here than there was for the dodgy stewards results where they gave it to the French favourite recently. Game's gone

Wicklow, it was ahead of ATR by about 1.5 seconds so only about 10 seconds behind live now!

He has forced that gap, and on another day he doesn't get out, and it's a mug's ride. Have the Stewards even looked at it?

Prob even more than that if the truth be told - but thats the first time in years that Ive been able to see a french race on video.

It's a Group One. Different calculations apply, especially for the supreme jockeys:- Lester, Ryan...different breed.

It finished in a bunch. Much of a muchness then. A gap "opened" up for Moore on Camille Pissarro, thanks to his stablemate; numbers do help in horseracing.

That's true too.

So much easier when you have a team mate making the pace and making sure you have the rail run in the final furlong. It is very clever tactics but gives them a huge advantage over other horses. Trinity College also impeded Cualificar as he came off the rail. So Coolmore have 2 more classic winners in Camille Pisarro and Henri Matisse to take to Stud.

They are not stopping others from doing exactly the same thing. Isn't that the whole purpose of having a pacemaker. To control track position and the pace of the race.

Not a problem with today's tactics.
I do have a problem when they deliberately spoil the chances of other runners

No you shouldn't have. Master tactics, great ride and no stewards or objections. Job done and another masterclass from the best operation in the game.

in this instance the Ballydoyle tactics were nothing to do with anything. If the Gosden horse doesnt come back it doesnt win. The stable mate was lugging back to the rail too.

Even with the greatest of tactics you still need some luck in running.
They got that today.
A great ride from Lordan. Did his job well.
