It is fair to say that a Sat Derby has not been a great success for many reasons mainly the sporting options amateur and professional on that day.
Why has it not been tried back on the Wed as a pilot option for say 2/3 years.
If promoted like say the GN and even make it a bank holiday( 500/1) it would show where we are re the Sat/Wed debate.
