It's funny how certain rider types end up riding for certain trainer types, matches made in heaven.

He rode Frankel.

Anne Stokell would've won on Frankel, it was 1/20 for the Sussex Stakes

The chief steward today at Brighton was Steve Drowne. Sounds like he might have been promoted?
Is Steve an old pal of Tom's? They must have ridden against each other plenty back in the day? Not that any old acquaintances will get in the way of Steve doing a thorough job and calling for a running and riding enquiry when it's deemed appropriate, I'm confident of that. Ex jockeys becoming chief stewards. And why not, eh? |

I may have heard wrongly but I think Dean Mckeown is now sharing duties as Head of Integrity with Eddie Ahern.

all been said before...
i've got to the stage where i can't be bothered creating threads like this anymore tbh... i saw it at the time and thought 'i ain't bothering with it'... the stewards have made it clear they have an agenda of 'not noticing' things... you have ex jockeys as stewards / head of stewards... folk related to trainers as stewards... the whole game is utterly rancid... the media plays it's part too by 'not noticing' things... yet they want the mug public to have pre-race bets on this $h1te... utterly unbelievable stuff... thank God i gave up pre-race stuff many years ago and there is ZERO chance of me going back to it... and the reason for that is plain and simple... it is totally rancid. |

when the BHA gives cushy jobs to ex-jockeys what the hell do they think will happen ?
and imv that is why they give ex jockeys cushy jobs in the first place... and as i've said many many times the whole game is just an illusion... a huge cover up... try and make out to the mug public the game is 99.99999% straight and if you notice anything a bit iffy just ignore it... and it's the same with the media... exactly the same reason telly companies give ex jockeys cushy jobs... OMERTA. |
|
By:
and another thing i've said many many times...
i know someone who went for a job at the Integrity Unit... you could not have someone better placed for the job... got nowhere... BHA weren't interested... tells me everything i need to know about how seriously they take the dark side of horse racing. |

Queally's final air shot, where he missed the horse by about three feet, was just embarrassing.

Correct on every point HH.
You can study the form book all night long, but is it Off? The one factor we all struggle with. |

seen too much and heard too much barstool...
once the cat is out the bag it's pointless even asking the Q now imv... and yes i suppose if you THINK it's not off you can profit on here... but unless you 100% KNOW it's still a guess... sad state of affairs tbh. |
