I can remember many years ago at Huntingdon when I had backed one of Jimmy Fitzgeralds horses called Ibn Majed with John Pegley at 7/4for a monkey.
I was astounded when Hogmany made all and won.
Still in a state of shock when an objection by the Clerk of the Scales came to the winner (10 lbs light).
I collected and went home after a very rare occasion of good fortune,
It has always happened but just luck of the draw

theres a blind spot under the trees at cartmel that the droners cant see but it didnt happen there. nobody except tomo spotted it

showed it on rtv, happened out of vision of the camera. the odds of a horse losing weight on the course, winning the race and it not being caught on comms or in vision. quite high !

Weighing in light is still the best way to pull off a big payday if you were that way inclined. All that 1.01 beat, plus fancy prices on the eventual winner.

Probably only max lays horses finishing outside the top 2. I wouldn't be regularly laying the second horse at 1000.

had won £8,300 since 1st april so not a disaster but ive just got no interest anymore for the reasons above.

To sum it up,you are unlikely to win big I/R but you certainly can lose big

you'd think the cross-matcher might find something nearer the middle, maybe 100, backers happy, you less unhappy and might just hang around

you just clear out all the coppers left between 100 and 1000, fck all there most of the time

i clcik ev 2nd in ev race for £5 @1000...i rarely get a full match..amounts range from pences to £4 quid..rarely a fiver..but when i clicked this one the gps knew it was moving forward and still 3/4f to go..its impossible to get 9p at 32 and £9.91 @1000 unless its by nefarious means..witch it obv is.
