By:

Yes and would have won.
Never ceases to amaze me how stupid some of his posts are |

As was the Craven, and yet you used that argument for the defence of the Skidmark ride. Can't have it both ways I'm afraid.
better ride and asked it a bit earlier, accept it and move on |
By:
Move on from what? That the guineas winner is a better horse?

As was the Craven, and yet you used that argument for the defence of the Skidmark ride. Can't have it both ways I'm afraid. better ride and asked it a bit earlier, accept it and move on he asked it in the ginnees 2 out ydc..it was outpaced till bottom of the dip. |
By:
Fair point re a different day and opposition, no sign of him tapped for toe today and the ride was simple, closer to pace and no danger of any trouble.

2f out newmarket
2f out curragh held up both races |
By:
only thing keane done better today was the horse settled better imo
nobody interested in that tho only the result & backing an 11/10 winner |
By:
1st reason THE SHOES defenders give
he went for his horse at same times as Buick ,one replay showed this was garbage 2nd reason FOG iS a stayer 10 f horse didn't have the speed at newm, just blown the clock now there's just scrambling about to find another one it's easier just to say as shoemark admitted he had a shocker and should have pizahed up |
By:
anyway nice to see skybet giving 2 to 1 to those willin g to believe their own eyes at Newmarket
By:
it was 2L down 2f out at newmarket..he asked it to quicken..it didnt till it hit the rising ground.
simples. |
By:
v easy to understand rico...but dealing with imbeciles
By:
1st time, do YOU honestly believe KS couldn't have won on FOG today? Me or you could have won on it putting up a stone of overweight!
By:
Why should I feel stupid, didnt you hear the jockeys interview after the race, he held his hands up for being out of his ground and too confident. If you dont think Shoemark would have won on that Today you shouldnt be near a computer.
By:
after the race, he held his hands up for being out of his ground
it 2L down 2f out? |

By:
Well done Kieran another Cracking ride.

It could have won a furlong today and they’d still be saying they were right. I think this is about the only place you can find in the world where anyone thinks Ruling Court was the worthy winner.
By:
What a ridiculous statement CC
How do you possibly know what everyone thinks |
By:
I'd say 99.9% of punters couldn't give a toss after they'd weighed in Captain , there's a continued debate on here for some reason on something that can't possibly be proven but only involves a handful with the same opinion so it'll get nowhere.

Buick gave Ruling Court the best ride, ran out a 1/2 winner, therefore it gives the horse fair claims to have been a 'worthy winner'.
By:
Different opinion from you so we are wrong???
By:
scarthy champ beaten further in the english 2000 than he was today by field of gold , though expanded was slightly further today, hope the let jonquil near him next time
By:
And it ran a better time on worse ground
By:
The Shoe defenders do not feel stupid. Shoe made a mistake - he's admitted publicly. Everyone is entitled to that; Field of Gold was impressive today. He annihilated the field despite a wide passage throughout.
But, no Ruling Court or Shadow Of Light. Also, he's much strip-fitter. And, more is known of him now eg his acceleration is not immediate. Next stop is the St James's Palace. Let's hope he gets his ground again. |
By:
And it ran a better time on worse ground
They dawdled at newmarket before kicking for home, and that's where shoemaker was caught out. They didn't come back to him as quickly as he thought they would, and the hoss didn't have the toe to quicken up in time. Raced to Gosden's orders most likely. Just didn't pan out.it happens. |
By:
Laughable, had nothing to race with whereas in the other race they were all out.
By:
I'm sure Shoemark would have won on it today. It doesn't change anything re: the ride at Newmarket. It was a mistake,,,, we all make them... I wouldn't want to be under the pressure they are to win a Classic! Tough stuff. He was man enough to admit. His punishment has been severe.... but good guys come back. This too shall pass.
By:
totally agree
By:
good guy ,s ?
he,s been sacked, been an addict, who needs the bad guys ? |
By:
perhaps Gosden should take the blame, why no pacemaker at hq, same as haggis last week with al assay,
