They don’t seem to have a lot of winners these days, suite francaise looks a good horse, and that brille in 3rd, ran a good debut race. Thankfully that favourite was unbackable at 1/4 Laugh

I don't think the barn has a runner today or tomorrow at Goodwood, which would be unheard of in his dad's day.
A few years ago there was a guy posted regularly on here on their runners

think others have eventually worked out that giving johnstones easy uncontested leads up front is a very bad idea.  due to the way he trains his horses. 

took them 38 years.  but they've got there.

A few years ago there was a guy posted regularly on here on their runners.

His dad's affection for Goodwood was linked with the entire family having a south coast holiday down here during the "Glorious" week. They used to rent a house in Bosham or nearby around that week. Charlie will remember.
