You’re welcome to your opinion but I’ve seen worse. No conspiracy or the mention of how the French view us over here. Having lived in France I’m qualified on that score!!
Northern France they absolutely hate the English.

Parisian's see that they are different to the rest. The word peasant is still used to describe country folk!
My ex daren’t tell her old grandmother who was getting on (obviously for fear of upsetting her) that she was with an Englishman!
The scars run deep even if we helped liberate them.
Obviously not everyone is the same and one can only talk from experience.
England were playing Italy in the Euro final, guess who granny was cheering!

I think that they should have professional stewards, there is so much at stake involved and it does leave a mark on the trainer if group horses aren’t the norm.
If the rematch occurs and the going is soft I’d say that they’d fancy their chances. I had no idea of who Basher was but he was interviewed on the morning of the race and said it might be too quick.
Add to that what Ollie Sangster said about his runner :
Sangster also had news on Nell Gwyn runner-up Celestial Orbit, who returned with a valid excuse after being well beaten in the French 1,000 Guineas on her latest start.
"The ground was way too quick for her and not the good to soft that was advertised," he said. "She's fine, but needs cut in the ground. We're very lucky to have these quality fillies and hopefully they can all have good seasons."
They were (media) desperate for the Aga Khan filly to be a superstar and even Graffard when interviewed seemed reluctant to class her as such.
Anyway Fellows has a lovely filly.

I wouldn't back it with stolen at Ascot
Longchamp and Ascot present two different tests entirley, Simply Perfect was tiring over an easier toboggan mile in ground that the big filly didn’t love, hitting it hard. Whereas there’s not much of the Aga filly. The trial (where she was clearly overs) still showed that there isn’t much between them.

Great info it’s all there. How many AGA horses are trained here in Britain?

Not sure how anyone watching that race could think She's Perfect did not interfere with the Aga's filly.Opinions I suppose!!!Then the conspiracy theories come out!! How we love the 21st century.
You’re quite right. Delius and Arc in one sentence cough cough!

Slight interference in a lot of races tbh…swerving leaving the stalls, tightening up on bends and horses falling back because they are done…..a dreadful outcome to be honest.
Agree, but as others have pointed out the French will have detested their way of celebrating.
Anyone who’s seen Fake or Fortune on the BBC or not seen it should watch when Fiona and the fella take the Monet (I think it was that) to the Wildenstein’s who preside over what is included within the catalogue raisonné.
The door was shut before they even were heard, their case fell upon deaf ears. One can surmise whether the painting being in British ownership counted against them or not.
As said earlier roots run deep and that family are another power house within France.
