Was at Kelso races this Wednesday (7th), had a bet with one  firm and asked for the 10/1 showing on the board, got my ticket and it read 9/1. Asked for my stake back and got it. In the last race the same firm were offering an early price of 11/8 for Hey Buddy, I asked for £80 at that price. Got my ticket it read 5/4. Complained it was the second time they had done it and the Lady clerk said she had no control over when the prices changed and she was happy to change the price back to 11/8 and did. It was a quiet Wednesday and in each instance I was the only person having a bet. Might have been two honest coincidences but sometimes you have your doubts.

imo most likely there is a delay from the computer to the board with those prices being on a tracker to ****.I would guess that the ticket has been printed when its moved with the tracker but not moved on the board. I know a lot of northern bookies and macbet is not one that deliberately do you over
